Price: – R20-00

Opinion: – Good, could do with more mint though.

This toothpaste contains NO synthetic fragrances, preservatives, synthetic dyes, sodium laurels/laureth sulphates, animal ingredients, flouride or petrochemicals, and is not tested on animals.

I would buy this toothpaste again, although my family did gripe that it could be a bit mintier. My kids said they felt as if they had cleaned their teeth with only their toothbrushes and no toothpaste, and missed that minty, fresh feeling and flavour. There is another flavour, Peppermint and Baking Soda, which I will give a try next time.

Although my teeth felt clean, they did not feel quite as ‘squeaky’ clean as I would have liked. Maybe I am just too used to harsh ingredients, and need a change of mindset? As I have also noticed of late quite a few articles on the dangers of too much fluoride, I would like to use a natural toothpaste. The flouride saga is obviously a debatable subject, depending on which side of the fence you are on.  I tend to err on the side of precaution and avoidance, until proven otherwise, if possible?  I would buy the Earthsap toothpaste again, but as I said previously, I would give the other flavour a try.
