These products are manufactured by The Natural Skincare Company, locally here in South Africa. They use 100% certified organic aloe ferox gel and organic rooibos extract in all their skin and body care range, and jojoba oil and fractioned coconut oils. All their products are natural and free from harmful chemicals, colourants and animal products. Only essential oils are used as fragrances.

They are also an environmentally friendly company and all products are people, animal and earth friendly.

The shampoo and conditioner contain coconut and avocado oils to nourish the hair, and orange oil and aloe for extra shine.

I bought this shampoo and conditioner when I could not find my regular green one.  I found that the shampoo did not foam as much as I was used to with my regular one, and after conditioning my hair had that squeaky clean feeling, which I thought would leave my hair tangled. But I was pleasantly surprised that my hair felt soft and manageable when dry.  Initially it was not too frizzy either, which is one of the major problem I personally have with my hair. I was hoping that the coconut and avocado oils had done the trick, but I did find with continual use my frizz returned. But as I said earlier, that’s just my hair for you and my personal opinion. I do have very difficult hair, being naturally curly.

As this is such a natural earth and animal friendly product, it is definitely one that I will retry. I sometimes find to alternate hair products is helpful too.

This company also produce a skin care range, and natural perfumes. For more information on this hair product there is also a review of The Glam Green Girl blog, and their products can also be purchase through Faithful to Nature, an online organic store.
